Cooking with water
Due to the exceptional quality and its tight fitting lid, your Demeyere cookware does not require a lot of water or liquid for cooking, except of course, when you prepare soups, stocks, stews, pasta or other recipes calling for additional water. For instance, when cooking vegetables, never let the water level exceed the level of food.
With only a small amount of water, your food will be steamed rather than cooked to retain its own natural vitamins and minerals, as well as its own delicious aroma. Serving suggestion: you may use the remaining liquid for sauces or gravy.
